Fangirl OMGAAH!

In the past two weeks, I've met two of the creator/owners of two of my favorite stores, and I just wanted to spaz about that a lil if I could:

1) Guu Nishi of HOC Industries: House of Curios. I totally spazzed when I saw her hanging around outside HOC after an update group announcement. I love her so much, when she comes out with something new, I don't even consider whether I need it or not. I just buy. Because it's all A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
Sheah Odriscoll earns 12dxp (dork xp).

2) Ding Fotherington of 50 flats and VPoses, as well as My Second Life on the D-list. I popped over to 50 flats (best shoes forever and ever THE END; I've wished on more than one occasion that she made RL shoes as well :P) to get the new freebies before I logged off. When I logged back in later, there she was, sitting on the lounger. She was afk when I squeed all over her awesomeness, but she's so nice that she IM'd me back to say thank you! <3 style="font-style: italic;">Sheah Odriscoll earns 55dxp. Sheah Odriscoll is now a Level 32 Dork!

I'm going to keep a running tab of creators I have t he fortune of meeting. It's very exciting and fun!

Dresden Gallery

So, five years later, another post!

I've been sick the past week and discovered that there is no better way to occupy your mind while you're planted in bed with nothing but a box of tissues and a dozen empty 7up cans to keep you company than the Dresden Gallery in Second Life!


It's SO right up my alley. Not only do I love replicas of RL places, but it's got the art gallery experience down really nicely. I was so endeared, I got all snazzed up.


From painting to painting, you can zoom in on a high-def image. And the coolest part are the little audio clip buttons you click to open a browser-based audio that gives a little bit of info on the piece. Art nerds everywhere can appreciate this! The gallery even gives you a little pair of headphones to wear. The design is just gorgeous too, down to every detail, such as the sculpted molding in the foyer.


What's up, Rapheal angels? Nice place you have here!

I'm kind of glad I'm sick, otherwise I'd have to reconcile how many hours I've spent strolling through this awesome place.

Bloodlines H8

It makes absolutely no sense to me why a vampire bitch person would 1) Send a bite request without asking; 2) After receiving a no the first time, come back and try again (again, without asking); 3) Start begging after the second and more emphatic no; 4) START GETTING BELLIGERENT; and finally 5) After the person you are annoying the shit out of tells you off, you start letting your emitters go and talking shit in French.

Makes no sense. I fuckin' hate that game. I have yet to come across a Bloodlines player that isn't a total douche.

Bunny Hop Hunt

Wooo! Today, I found the very last egg and got my "Very Special Bunny" group tag, thus completing The Gridwide Bunny Hop Hunt!

And it was fun finding all those eggs... but I just went overboard! Not only do I have 300 boxes or gifts to open, sort, try on, adjust, snap pics of... There's all the non-Hop-related freebie and cheapie crap I got along the way! My "New Stuff" folder is a mile long right now WITHOUT the bunny hop gear.

*sigh* I guess it's the good kind of busy I'll be in, though.

P.S. New friend Alexandra Lemon is uninstalling. Good luck IRL baby!

Who wants a moustache ride?

I love the whole Starlust Sim. It's... it's very thorough and generally cool. And awesome. The first time I tp'd there, I spent a couple hours just looking around. It's basically modeled after old California-style buildings-in-the-shape-of-stuff. So I was bopping around there, looking for a store that sells cool tshirts (they have really cool hipster stores all over the place too) and found this on their boardwalk area:
