Stuff I Made

Sleep is playing hard to get, apparently. So let's update this bitch.

Firstly, I've been making stuff again. I think I'm getting somewhat better hehe. Here's my junk, in chronological order:

This is my first dress, kind of a 60s retro housedress. There's meant to be a prim tie on either shoulder, but the simple prims I'm working with so far didn't look so hot. I think the top part looks pretty good. The bottom part, the glitch pants... eh. they could look a bit better, but fortunately you don't really see them.

Here's my second dress. It's really cute, I think :). Again, top good, bottom not so good. The skirt's made pretty much in the same way.

And this is the most recent. I really like these shirts. They look great, the colors are cute and bright. I even went so far as to make this nifty little pic to display all the colors.

This is technically the most recent, but it only 1/2 counts. I made this Jesus costume (everything but the shoes, hair, and beard) specifically for Zombiefest. It's not the most detailed gear in the world, but still not bad.

My next challenges will be making a skin using Eloh Elliot's templates and making a shirt for a male av. I've also got a couple of dresses in the "work in progress" file that I've been messing around with on and off. Hopefully that turns out well.

Alrighty, bad to bed with me for round 2. *kissy*

Plurkin' and Busin'

I have a plurk nao.

http://www.plurk.com/sheahodriscoll

If you see this, add me. IDGAF. I have like 9 friends. MOOARRRR.

Also, sometimes me and my runnin' crew... we go for a little ride on the bus bus.

I'm also starting to make some clothes, though that's still slow-and-go and learning-as-I-go but IDK. I can't decide if I'm being nitpicky with the little details that look off to me (like on my green dress, the trim on the top looks a little uneven, maybe because of my shape, maybe not idk).

Fangirl III and the easiest way to make room in your inventory

Have I mentioned how much I love the Starlust family of Sims (Lloyd, Floyd, Harod, and Horst)?

Luv luv luv luv luv it. Completely wacky and awesome and I just loving loafing around in Starlust, fishing or whatever. <3

Anyhoo... I caught Vasha Martinek, the genius behind +DV8+ (as well as one of Dare Munro of Dare Designs' models), so I'm adding her to my list of awesome creators and owners that have crossed by path. :)

And finally... while loafing around in Starlust, I looked at my inventory agast, just shaking my head. 18K+. I think just a couple months ago, I balked at steepling 10K. WTF, Sheah. WTF.

BUT I amazingly was able to cut over 2K of that out! How, you ask? Welp... I used the inventory filters. I filter-viewed just scripts and deleted all the extrenious scripts, like hover text and clickopen, etc. Then I did textures, notecards, and landmarks. Now I'm down to a svelt 16K. Woohoo! So tidy :) I don't know why I didn't think to do that sooner.

Fangirl OMGAHH! II

Yay! Add Isabeau Reinard of Reasonable Desires to the list of totally awesome SL owners and creators that I've had the awesome honor of meeting! It was so cute too, she asked me if I had more pics for her, since she dropped me a line a while back about this pic on my flickr.

Yaaay! *awesome dance*

Fangirl OMGAAH!

In the past two weeks, I've met two of the creator/owners of two of my favorite stores, and I just wanted to spaz about that a lil if I could:

1) Guu Nishi of HOC Industries: House of Curios. I totally spazzed when I saw her hanging around outside HOC after an update group announcement. I love her so much, when she comes out with something new, I don't even consider whether I need it or not. I just buy. Because it's all A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
Sheah Odriscoll earns 12dxp (dork xp).

2) Ding Fotherington of 50 flats and VPoses, as well as My Second Life on the D-list. I popped over to 50 flats (best shoes forever and ever THE END; I've wished on more than one occasion that she made RL shoes as well :P) to get the new freebies before I logged off. When I logged back in later, there she was, sitting on the lounger. She was afk when I squeed all over her awesomeness, but she's so nice that she IM'd me back to say thank you! <3 style="font-style: italic;">Sheah Odriscoll earns 55dxp. Sheah Odriscoll is now a Level 32 Dork!

I'm going to keep a running tab of creators I have t he fortune of meeting. It's very exciting and fun!
