Plurkin' and Busin'

I have a plurk nao.

http://www.plurk.com/sheahodriscoll

If you see this, add me. IDGAF. I have like 9 friends. MOOARRRR.

Also, sometimes me and my runnin' crew... we go for a little ride on the bus bus.

I'm also starting to make some clothes, though that's still slow-and-go and learning-as-I-go but IDK. I can't decide if I'm being nitpicky with the little details that look off to me (like on my green dress, the trim on the top looks a little uneven, maybe because of my shape, maybe not idk).

Fangirl III and the easiest way to make room in your inventory

Have I mentioned how much I love the Starlust family of Sims (Lloyd, Floyd, Harod, and Horst)?

Luv luv luv luv luv it. Completely wacky and awesome and I just loving loafing around in Starlust, fishing or whatever. <3

Anyhoo... I caught Vasha Martinek, the genius behind +DV8+ (as well as one of Dare Munro of Dare Designs' models), so I'm adding her to my list of awesome creators and owners that have crossed by path. :)

And finally... while loafing around in Starlust, I looked at my inventory agast, just shaking my head. 18K+. I think just a couple months ago, I balked at steepling 10K. WTF, Sheah. WTF.

BUT I amazingly was able to cut over 2K of that out! How, you ask? Welp... I used the inventory filters. I filter-viewed just scripts and deleted all the extrenious scripts, like hover text and clickopen, etc. Then I did textures, notecards, and landmarks. Now I'm down to a svelt 16K. Woohoo! So tidy :) I don't know why I didn't think to do that sooner.

Dresden Gallery

So, five years later, another post!

I've been sick the past week and discovered that there is no better way to occupy your mind while you're planted in bed with nothing but a box of tissues and a dozen empty 7up cans to keep you company than the Dresden Gallery in Second Life!

It's SO right up my alley. Not only do I love replicas of RL places, but it's got the art gallery experience down really nicely. I was so endeared, I got all snazzed up.

From painting to painting, you can zoom in on a high-def image. And the coolest part are the little audio clip buttons you click to open a browser-based audio that gives a little bit of info on the piece. Art nerds everywhere can appreciate this! The gallery even gives you a little pair of headphones to wear. The design is just gorgeous too, down to every detail, such as the sculpted molding in the foyer.

What's up, Rapheal angels? Nice place you have here!

I'm kind of glad I'm sick, otherwise I'd have to reconcile how many hours I've spent strolling through this awesome place.

Who wants a moustache ride?

I love the whole Starlust Sim. It's... it's very thorough and generally cool. And awesome. The first time I tp'd there, I spent a couple hours just looking around. It's basically modeled after old California-style buildings-in-the-shape-of-stuff. So I was bopping around there, looking for a store that sells cool tshirts (they have really cool hipster stores all over the place too) and found this on their boardwalk area:

I give you the Floyd Starlustland Moustache Ride or Moustache-Go-Round or Carou-stache.

It look so happy!

Close-up... many styles to choose from!

WOOOOOOO!!!! Yaaay! (Boo @ skirt glitch... makes this pic a little weirder)

The awesome-ness was very infectious.
